My Law Practice
Representing Individuals and Businesses in Texas
Few things are more important than finding a lawyer who will create a legal plan that is tailored to address all the unique elements of your situation. When clients contact me, that is exactly what they can expect. I am Marty D. Price, Attorney at Law, and I provide personal attention and tailored solutions to every client I work with.
When I meet with clients to discuss their legal matters, I discuss and explain with them the information they need to make informed decisions at every step of their case. I have over 29 years of experience representing clients throughout Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, and the surrounding communities in legal matters, including:
- Real estate litigation: I handle a variety of residential and commercial real estate litigation matters including property contracts and disputes, purchase money contracts, municipality disputes, title issues, encroachment issues and property transfers and exchanges.
- Landlord/tenant issues: I represent landlords or tenants when disputes arise regarding leased or rented property. I have worked with clients on issues involving interpretation of lease agreements, early lease termination, eviction proceedings, wrongful eviction, rent collections and negotiations, maintenance obligations and breach of the lease contract.
- Business and commercial law: I represent individuals and businesses in litigation matters regarding contract, consumer and business organization issues. I work with clients to help ensure they are appropriately compensated for losses resulting from partnership disputes, breach of fiduciary obligations, intentional deceit and insurance disputes.
- Personal injury: When I represent clients in personal injury cases, I consider a range of factors to determine the impact your injury will have on your life. These factors include economic loss, medical treatment and costs, psychological damage, rehabilitation, vocational retraining and employment opportunities.
I am licensed to practice in the Texas state courts and have argued cases before the Houston and Dallas Courts of Appeals. I am also licensed to practice in the federal courts in Texas (Northern and Eastern districts), the Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States. I am AV-Rated* through the Martindale-Hubbell peer rating system, the highest possible rating.
*CV, BV, and AV are registered certification marks of Reed Elsevier Properties Inc., used in accordance with the Martindale-Hubbell certification procedures, standards, and policies.
